Free Eye Camps
Free Eye Camps are held every year in March and October in Dwarahat. Due to the high quality of care provided, patients from the neighbouring Gharwal region also come for cataract surgery. About 900 patients were treated, and 257 patients had Intra Ocular Lens Implantation surgery at the October 2008 camp.![]() Summer Camps for School Children Dwarahat Ashram holds two summer camps for school children. A residential camp was held for 30 children of the YSS Dwarahat School from June 24 - 28, 2009. The children are taught the basic principles of Guruji,s teachings and the Energization Exercises. The programme included devotional chanting, arts, crafts, and sports. Another summer camp, for the children of neighbouring schools, imparted coaching in all subjects including moral education.Guest Rooms Renovation Two guest rooms were renovated at the Dwarahat Ashram with all amenities including spacious bathrooms, elegant furnishings, and a small nook for private meditation. Yogoda Satsanga Society of India is recognized as a charitable Society under the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Contributions made to this Society are Income Tax deductable under Section 80-G of the said Act. Donations may be made payable to YOGODA SATSANGA SOCIETY OF INDIA by a crossed Bank Draft drawn on a Ranchi Bank, or an A/c Payee Cheque, or by crossed Indian Postal Order; and sent to Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, Paramahansa Yogananda Path, Ranchi 834 001, Jharkhand. |
