Release of Inner Peace by Hon. Vice President of India

The Honourable Vice President of India, Sri M. Hamid Ansari honoured Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda and his worldwide work by personally releasing the Indian edition of Inner Peace in New Delhi on September 12, 2008.





YSS Meditation Leaders, Training Programme

To guide leaders of YSS meditation centers, YSS organized two-day meditation-leaders, training programmes in Shimla, Coimbatore, and Rajahmundry. These programmes included Energization Exercises and meditation, interactive sessions, a session for learning and practising Cosmic Chants, and satsangas. The sannyasis trained devotees in the conduction of group meditations.



Yogoda Satsanga Kanya Vidyalaya, Ranchi

In the 2009 Class X Board Examinations, seven of the top ten ranks in Ranchi District were secured by students of Yogoda Satsanga Kanya Vidyalaya, Ranchi.







Road Named After Guruji

On February 20, 2009, the road in front of Yogoda Satsanga Dhyana Kendra, Lucknow was named Paramahansa Yogananda Marg. The dedication ceremony was conducted by Swami Suddhananda Giri and Sri Alok Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary, Nagar Vikas, Govt. of UP.





Golden Jubilee Celebrations, Ghatal

Yogoda Satsanga Sri Yukteswar Vidyapith, Ghatal, West Bengal, celebrated its Golden Jubilee from December 26 - 28, 2008. Inter-school competitions on Guruji,s writings were held, 500 ex-students and teachers were felicitated. A new building, with additional classrooms and a library, was inaugurated.
